Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Economics from The Ohio State University in 2014. She is now finishing her Juris Doctor at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and expects to graduate in May, 2017. She will sit for the bar in July 2017.
Throughout law school, Nicole has worked in a variety of practice areas, including criminal, civil, transactional, election, and administrative law. She enjoys competing in moot court and mock trial competitions, and has won several awards in various regional and national competitions based on her performance.
After graduation, Nicole hopes to gain more experience in dispute settlement in all areas of the law. She hopes this experience will allow her to one day transition to cross-border dispute resolution between private and public parties.
Why Nicole wants to become an attorney: “Law defines many aspects of our daily lives, but a lot of people find difficulty or disagreement with it. Instead of feeling frustrated or angry because of the law, I want to help others understand that it is here to help us and guide us in our societal experiences.”
