Cleveland.com reported on December 1 that singer Scott Stapp’s wife filed for divorce in Florida.
Scott’s wife, Jaclyn Stapp reportedly sought the help of a Palm Beach County judge in November to put the 41-year-old Creed front man in a rehabilitation center for abusing controlled substances. Jaclyn stated that she fled their home a month before she decided to file for divorce. Jaclyn further alleges that Scott threatened to hurt their family and to kill himself. Scott recently stated on a posted video saying that he is experiencing serious financial problems to which he blames, at least partially, on the government agencies and identity thieves.
