Two Arizona Motorcyclists Killed in Crash in Utah

Two Arizona residents riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle were pronounced dead after being struck by a 17-year-old boy’s Jeep in Wayne County, Utah.

Officials say the cause of the accident was the driver of the Jeep overcorrecting and ending up in oncoming lanes. The Jeep struck two motorcycles, killing two 64-year-olds and injuring a 49-year-old man on another motorcycle. The surviving man’s gas tank was ruptured, and both that bike and the Jeep burst into flames.

The third motorcyclist, who is also from Tucson, was taken to the Sevier Valley Medical Center. The teenager was ejected from his Jeep and was also taken to the hospital.
