“Jackass” Star Ryan Dunn Dies in Car Accident
Ryan Dunn, a cast member on the MTV Show “Jackass,” died from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident early Monday morning. The accident occurred near West Chester, a Philadelphia Suburb. According to West Goshen Township Police, Mr. Dunn and a passenger, thirty-year-old (30) Zachary Hartwell, a production assistant on the second “Jackass” movie, died when Mr. Dunn’s vehicle, a 2007 Porsche, left the roadway, flipped over a guardrail and caught on fire. The force of impact caused the vehicle to shatter into multiple pieces leaving the vehicle unrecognizable. According to Police, Mr. Dunn was identified through his hair and tattoos. Police believe speed may have been a factor in the accident. President of MTV Networks/Films Group, Van Toffler said “We are devastated by the tragic loss of Ryan Dunn – a beloved member of the MTV family for more than a decade. The “Jackass” brotherhood will never be the same.”
