Woman Driving Golf Cart Killed in Accident
According to the Maricopa County Sherriff’s Office, a seventy-six-year-old (76) woman, whose name has not been released, was killed when she was hit by a Ford F150 while driving her golf cart. Maricopa County Public Information Officer Chris Hergstrom said the accident occurred on Thursday at approximately 2 p.m. at the intersection of R.H. Johnson Boulevard and Trail Ridge Drive. The driver of the F150, sixty-two-year-old (62) Cathleen Morris, was not seriously injured in the accident and refused medical treatment at the scene. Mr. Hergstrom said there were no other passengers in the truck or the golf cart. According to Mr. Hergstrtom, Officers are still investigating the accident.
