According to Phoenix Fire Department Spokesman Captain Scott Walker, seven (7) people were injured in a three-vehicle collision in Phoenix on Tuesday morning at approximately 9:49 a.m. The accident occurred on Cave Creek Road and Sweetwater Avenue when a pickup truck rear-ended a car causing the car to rear-end an SUV and pinning the car between the pickup and the SUV. Captain Walker said five (5) passengers were taken from the car and rushed to the hospital. The driver of the pickup truck and the driver of the SUV were also transported to a local hospital. According to Captain Walker, the car was seriously damaged, but no one was critically injured.
