Four High School Students Injured in Car Accident
According to Glendale Police Sergeant Brent Coombs, several people were injured in two (2) car accidents in Glendale over the weekend. On Saturday, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Police responded to a four (4) vehicle collision near 75th Avenue and Maryland. Police said the accident occurred when four (4) high school students in an SUV were struck by a Discount Cab taxi as they were exiting the parking lot of Independence High School. The accident caused the taxi to rollover. Two (2) other vehicles collided as they were attempting to avoid the initial accident. The teenagers in the SUV were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The passengers in the second collision were treated at the scene.
