Three Injured in Head-On Collision in Prescott
According to the Prescott Police Department, three (3) people were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday morning. Prescott Police said the driver of a 2004 GMC Denali, twenty-five-year-old (25) Krystal Marie Harmon, crossed over the center lane and collided head-on with a Humboldt Unified School District bus. The accident occurred at approximately 6 a.m. on Montezuma Street just north of Navajo Drive. According to Police, a twelve-year-old (12) student and fourteen-year-old (14) student onboard the school bus were not harmed. However, an eighteen-year-old (18) student suffered minor cuts to the chin and was transported to the hospital. Police also said that fifty-year-old (50) Judith Roza, the school bus driver, suffered a possible neck injury and was transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center. Ms. Harmon, the driver of the Denali, suffered a broken leg and was unconscious. Ms. Harmon was air lifted to John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix.
