Man Rearrested Hours after Release from Jail

According to Yavapai County Sherriff Officials, thirty-five-year-old (35) Christopher Martell was arrested for car theft, criminal damage, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest just hours after he was released from jail on previous charges.  Authorities say Mr. Martell was in custody at the Camp Verde Detention Center for trespassing at the Sherriff’s evidence facility in Prescott Valley, Arizona.  Mr. Martel, according to Officials, was released on Thursday afternoon but was rearrested after he stole a detention staff member’s vehicle and intentionally crashed into another vehicle causing injury to the vehicle’s female driver.  Mr. Martel is currently being held on $60,000 bond.
