Man Dies in Accident when Teen Driver Fails to Yield
According to Mesa Police, on Thursday around 10:20 p.m., a man died in a car accident when a female teen driver collided with his vehicle after failing to yield before making a left turn. The accident occurred at Grove Street and Signal Butte in Mesa when the teen pulled in front of a Chevrolet Blazer causing it to roll. The driver of the Chevrolet was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene of the accident while responders were preparing to transport him to a local hospital. Police do not suspect that alcohol was a factor in the accident. Officials did not disclose the identity of either driver.
