Arizona Motorcycle Crash closes Roadway

An early morning crash has severely injured a motorcycle rider around the area of 59th Avenue and Buckeye Road. It was not determined which party was at fault for the crash. According to Phoenix Police and Fire Officials the crash took place around 6 am on September 9. The motorcyclist, an adult male was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries; his name was not been released by Police. The other vehicle involved in the crash was not damaged and the driver did not incur any injuries. Motorcycle accidents in Arizona in 2008 were only two (2) percent of all crashes in Arizona but resulted in the highest fatal injury ratio.*
